Now Breathing Without Assistance "Kiss"

The British Heart Foundation, British Heart Foundation, has set a new standard of respiratory assistance(Cardiopulmonary resuscitation / CPR). In this newrecommendation CPR done without the "kiss" or breathingassistance from mouth to mouth, and more focused on chest compressions.

CPR is done by hand because according to polls the majority of people feel uncomfortable if you have to do the breathingassistance from mouth to mouth. The poll was conducted throughout the UK to more than 2,000 respondents.

Besides being worried about contracting the disease due to give a "kiss" the majority of respondents said they did not dare toperform CPR because they do not know how to do it. About 4 in 10 people feared prosecuted even if they claim to perform CPRwith one.

According to Ellen Mason, a senior nurse from the British HeartFoundation, giving a breath of mouth is actually a gold standardfor CPR, but if someone has never been trained to do CPRbefore, the best is chest compression alone.

CPR is a technique used to rescue emergency conditions, such as heart attack or almost drowned in a state where the victim is unconscious and breathing stopped.

Respiratory assistance should only be done if the victim is reallyunconscious and not breathing. Because the provision ofrespiratory assistance to people who do not need it can be dangerous.

If you are unsure of actions to be performed CPR, the first action is to call for emergency medical assistance.
