Circumcision and Sexual Pleasure?

HEALTH BLOG - The decision to perform circumcision may still be a consideration for some people. In countries whose population is majority non-Muslims

, the decision to circumcise a boy is not easy.Parents who do not have a strong belief based on culture or religion, they might turn to the results of research and research reports as well as the benefits to the health impact of circumcision procedures.
Some parents are concerned about sexual health issues would typically think of, whether or not to circumcise circumcision may have a negative impact on the sexual life of their son when he grows up. This is also the question of interest to men who have been circumcised as a child, or who is still considering to be circumcised.
Clearly, the question of whether circumcision affects the sexual pleasure is difficult to answer. On the one hand, it is not easy to find groups to be compared. And if anything can be compared, it is difficult to separate which of these groups that choose prosedut circumcision as one of the reasons for sexual gratification or pleasure. On the other hand, it is difficult anyway to answer the question without a clear definition of what constitutes sexual pleasure. If sexual pleasure is defined as physical sensitivity, then we can seek information from research or research that examines whether circumcision affects sexual sensitivity and sensitivity to the physical? But a variety of research only gives us a partial picture only. Because the fact is, the sensitivity is not the same as the physical sense of satisfaction or pleasure.
Physical sensitivity is concerned with how the body (the visible symptoms and can be observed) in response to external stimulation. While sexual satisfaction and pleasure associated with the body's way of subjectively felt stimulation. Sexual pleasure generally includes physical, psychological, emotional, and sometimes involves a spiritual experience.Lots of research has provided insight, but the question of circumcision and sexual satisfaction has not been fully answered.Several studies below can be a picture to assess the extent of the influence of circumcision on sexual satisfaction in men who were circumcised and uncircumcised:
* A study involving thousands of men in Uganda showed that those who were circumcised as adults claim that circumcision does not affect sexual satisfaction or menyebabkkan pain during or after sexual intercourse.

* A national probability sample in the United States that tested the effects of circumcision and sex found that circumcised men have a lower risk for sexual dysfunction than those who were not circumcised.
* A poll conducted by an anti-circumcision organization, (the method for recruiting volunteers is not explained) indicates, as much as 61 percent of men who were circumcised as infants reported decreased sexual sensations as they age.
* Survey conducted a antisunat organization involving 139 women found that women who love men claim that circumcision is a partner who is not circumcised are more likely to experience premature ejaculation. But when all female opinion taken into account, the data showed that circumcised men are more likely to premature ejaculation.

* In another study, researchers asked women about the volunteer response to their male partners. The findings showed 71 percent of women prefer circumcised partners than uncircumcised men when it came to engage in sexual activity.
* A study in Denmark showed that women with circumcised partners have often claimed to feel sexually satisfied. While in other research in Mexico, circumcision does not seem to influence in terms of sexual satisfaction for couples.

* Two research article published on the same issue of The Journal of Urology measures satisfaction adult men before and after circumcision. One study found no decrease in levels of sexual satisfaction when they are circumcised. However, other studies have reported a significant decrease in satisfaction when erection after circumcision.
So, whether circumcision will make your sex better, worse or the same? All of course depends on you and your partner. But certainly, there are many other factors that determine sexual satisfaction.Levels of sexual satisfaction is not entirely determined by whether the men had been circumcised or not.
Not affect male sexual function
In a filing consultation, Professor and Head of the Andrology and Sexology, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Dr. Wimpie Pangkahila, SpAnd, FAACS clarify the effect of circumcision on sexual acts. Basically, said Wimpie, circumcision would not affect a man's sexual function.
"There is no scientific case to suggest that circumcision or no circumcision affect sexual function. So, there was no effect of circumcision on sexual relations," said Wimpie.
In the act of circumcision, said Wimpie, which cut the skin covering the head of the penis (the prepuce). Once cut, the area would then be stitched back.
From the point of health, said Wimpie, a thing to be aware of the prepuce, namely whether the prepuce can be opened or pulled back or not. If the prepuce can be pulled back so that the head of the penis in sight, this situation is considered healthy because the head of the penis and the prepuce can be cleaned. But conversely, if the prepuce can not be opened or pulled back, meaning the inside and the head of the penis can not be cleaned. In such circumstances, there will be accumulation of material released by the gland, called smegma. As a result, easy infection. In a long time, it can cause cancer of the penis.
"Therefore, in such circumstances circumcision should be done," he said.
