Heart Valve Disease

Heart Valve Disease. Heart valve function is to ensure that the blood flows freely in one direction of flow and the absence of a leaking backflow. And heart valves that consists of four heart valves are two valves atrioventrikuler, from the atria to the ventricles, and 2 pulmonary valve and aortic semilunar ie, from the ventricle into the pulmonary circulation and the systemic circulation.
The valve is very responsive, so the pressure difference is small (less than 1 mmHg) between the two chambers of the heart, was able to open and close the valve leaves. Well this time Blog Nursing will share a little about heart valve disease and may be familiar with our heart valve disease / common people call it by heart valve disease would be useful.
Heart valve disease will cause abnormalities in blood flow across the valve. It could be that we know in the community as the heart of the leak. So the disorder is located on the heart valves. It can be a heart valve stenosis and heart valve insufficiency experienced.

Heart Valve Disease

Heart valve disease is causing heart valve abnormalities / disorders such as:

Insufficiency / Regurgitation Valve. Leaf valve can not close tightly so that blood can flow back. Heart valve regurgitation causes increased volume load and cardiac chamber dilatation yag receive blood behind.

Valve Stenosis. Hole narrowed valve so that blood flow obstacles. Heart valve stenosis increased afterload and cause hypertrophy in the atria and the ventricles pump blood as against an increase in pressure. Cardiac valve dysfunction can also occur simultaneously, perhaps stenosis and regurgitation (lesion mix).
Causes of Heart Valve Disease can be divided into rheumatic (more than 90% of cases) and non-rheumatic. Rheumatism, known as RHD (Rheumatic Heart Disease) is the most common cause of heart disease, which usually occurs from childhood. Network that attacked the lining of rheumatic fever include heart valves, skin, joints and brain. RHD is an acute systemic disease caused by group A Streptococcus Beta Hemoliticus that infects the upper tract (throat infection) and generally takes 2-3 weeks until symptoms arise rheumatic fever.
Heart valve can malfunction either because of leaks (valve regurgitation) or because of failure to adequately open (valve stenosis). Both can affect the heart's ability to pump blood. Sometimes the valve has both problems.
The cause another heart valve disease can include:

    1.
Degenerative changes in the network, for example myxcoma, calsifikasi.

2.Trauma / infection.
    3.
CHD (Coronary Heart Disease), Myocardial infarction with papillary muscullus rupture, causing valve dysfunction atrioventrikuler.

4.Congenital abnormalities.

5.Erytematous systemic diseases such as lupus and scleroderma.
Types of heart valve disease are:

   1.
Valve Regurgitation Mittral
   2
.Mitral Valve Prolapse
   3.
Mitral Valve Stenosis
   4.
Aortic Valve Regurgitation
   5.
Aortic Stenosis Katur
   6.
Valve Regurgitation Trikuspidalis
   7.
Trikuspidalis Valve Stenosis
   8.
Pulmonary valve stenosis.
So had a little friend of the heart valve disease and may later be described one by one type of cardiovascular disease that have been mentioned above. Hopefully we get to know the will of heart valve disease will increase our knowledge in the field of health and also this type of heart valve disease.
