Biological Clock Influences Immune?

HEALTH BLOG  - The body's biological clock is not just manage a variety of sleep and wake up every day as well as organ function but alsoaffects the immune system. According to the study of humanimmune system is its strength varies depending on the biological clock.

Humans are not the only creatures that have a regular time of 24hours or so-called circadian rhythm. Plants, animals, even bacteria it also has a circadian rhythm is. Jet lag, or is medicallycalled desinkronisasi occur due to disruption of circadian rhythmafter we pass through different time zones.

In a study revealed that chemical substances including hormone secreted by the body's circadian rhythms that take effect on theprotein in the immune system.

As we all know the immune system must detect before it can fightinfection. Proteins involved in the detection process is Toll-like receptor nine (TLR9) were able to find a virus or bacterial DNA.

In a study of laboratory mice, scientists found that the number ofproduction and TLR9 function is controlled by the body's biological clock and varies throughout the day. If TLR9 peakedthen the body was not easily infected with the pathogen.

In humans suffering from blood poisoning (sepsis) at high risk of death occurred at around 2:00 to 6:00.

According to researchers, most pharmaceutical companies noware developing drugs that are tailored to the body's circadian clock. Thus the effectiveness of the drug could be further improved.
